The injury reportedly occurred while Lux was running between the bases. Talkin’ Baseball reported the news via Twitter. 

In the Tweet, they said, “Gavin Lux was carted off after a base-running injury”. This will be a concerning loss for the Dodgers as they prepare to have a huge 2023 season. Lux is a rising star for the team and has shown the potential to be a star second baseman.
