For the fourth season in a row, Gerrit Cole is the starting pitcher that begins the season for the Yankees. Talkin’ Yanks shared the news via Twitter.

In a Tweet, Talkin’ Yanks said, “Aaron Boone has just announced that Gerrit Cole will be the Opening Day starter 🤯🤯🤯”. This is great news for the team as they have lost several players to injury in the last couple of weeks.
