Major League Baseball is up and running with full force. The current season is one of the best in recent years. Whether it is LA Dodgers or New York Yankees, no team is safe from the underdogs like the Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles.

Though this season did not start at its scheduled time, the level of entertainment has not decreased. And considering the sarcastic nature of MLB fans, they will relate the games to any ongoing incidents.

For example, when the Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp won the legal battle against his ex-wife Amber Heard, they related the incident with the Pirates sweeping the Dodgers in a three-game series.

Earlier this week, the Pittsburgh Pirates shocked the entire MLB fraternity when they swept a star-studded squad of the LA Dodgers. It was the first time the Pirates swept a series against the Dodgers in Los Angeles in the last 22 years.

Coincidentally, on the very same day, Johnny Depp also won the long-going legal battle against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Notably, Depp is mainly known for portraying the famous pirate Jack Sparrow in “The Pirates of the Caribbean Sea” films.

Taking to Twitter, fans reacted to both incidents in hilarious ways. One MLB fan said that the Pirates owned Amber Heard and the Dodgers. Another fan even compared incidents and tweeted that Heard and the Dodgers failed to win against the Pirates on the same day.

A Twitter user even asked what is common between the Dodgers and Amber Heard? He also shared the answer in the same tweet. 

“What do the LA Dodgers and Amber Heard have in common? They both took losses to Pirates this week,” said the tweet.

Are the Dodgers a serious contender for the World Series?

Their series loss against the Pirates does not change the fact that the Dodgers have the best offense in the entire MLB. But the Dave Roberts-led team needs to be more careful In the next games.
