The trade-offs included top players like Giancarlo Stanton, Marcell Ozuna, Dee Strange-Gordon, and Christian Yelich. Stanton was the reigning National League MVP at that time. Much against his wishes, Stanton got sent to the Yankees by Jeter. However, Stanton didn’t step back from hitting out at Jeter.?
