The Los Angeles Dodgers recently celebrated their annual dress-up day. All the players donned fancy costumes and dressed according to their will. The players enacted famous characters from pop culture. But two players decided to take a different route.
Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman are a duo of champion sluggers for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Betts earlier played for the Boston Red Sox, while Freeman played for the Atlanta Braves. Both the players are six-time All-Star members. Betts is a two-time World Series champion and Freeman has won the championship once.

Betts and Freeman, too, participated in the dress-up ceremony, just like their teammates. Most of the players turned into some globally recognized fictional characters from pop culture. However, the Dodgers duo in mention, decided to keep it real. Betts dressed up as the iconic ‘King of Golf’ Tiger Woods, while Freeman as the famous personal caddie.

Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman have struck up an alliance since turning into Dodgers teammates. Betts has been playing for the Dodgers since 2020. On the other hand, Freeman joined the team in the ongoing MLB season.

Betts and Freeman carried their bonding into the Dodgers’ dress-up festivity, too. Betts dressed up as the legendary golf icon Tiger Woods. Freeman followed suit as Woods’ popular former caddie, Steve Williams. As the images went viral online, the fans expressed their raw opinions. The reactions were rather mixed, though mostly towards the negative end.

The Dodgers are presently the top-ranked team in the National League West zonal rankings. Markedly, they are just a few wins away from their 100th seasonal win. At this point, it looks like the Dodgers will be the first team in the tournament to win 100 games this season. With the best win-loss record in the entire league, the Dodgers have their eyes set on the trophy.
