It’s been nearly a week and teams are still grinding to make changes to their MLB rosters. The first week of a new season is always hit and a miss when deciding on the roster and the lineups. And in the off-season, there had been a lot of discussions about the 23-year-old pitcher, Grayson Rodriguez, joining the ranks of the Baltimore Orioles.
Despite being ranked as the 15th prospect by the team, Rodriguez failed to impress in his five spring starts, registering an ERA of 7.04 with 19 strikeouts and 7 walks. Hence, the spot on the team had been given to five other players who had outperformed him. But now, through a series of events, the pitcher has earned a spot in the team’s MLB roster for the regular season and has expressed his delight in the most endearing way possible.
