The former Yankee captain visited the Bronx and interacted with fans in the Yankee Stadium while promoting his upcoming documentary series ‘The Captain.’

Currently, the Yankees are playing a four-game series against their arch-rival, Boston Red Sox, over 200 miles away in Boston. But the Yankee Stadium was filled with fans on Thursday, just to get a glimpse of their legendary captain. Notably, Jeter and ESPN held a screening of ‘The Captain’ in the Bronx.

Taking to Twitter, Jeter expressed his emotion after his recent visit to the Bronx, while he also asked the fans to come on September 9th this year. Notably, the Yankees will celebrate the Hall of Fame induction tribute night to honor their legendary captain for getting his name etched in Cooperstown.

“Great to be back in the Bronx last night. Hope to see you all at Yankee Stadium on Sept. 9,” Jeter Tweeted.

Talking about ‘The Captain,’ the ESPN-produced documentary is a seven-episode series. Jeter will discuss his journey, struggle, and success in the upcoming series. It will be premiered from the 18th of July onwards on ESPN and ESPN+.
