Over the years, Derek Jeter dated many women. From Mariah Carey to Minka Kelly, Jeter has dated several high-profile women as well. But his life as a bachelor and dating man came to an end when he met Hannah Davis in 2012. The pair hit it off instantly and dated for 3 years and were engaged for 1 year before getting married in 2016. 

The two have since had three daughters together and are enjoying parenthood. Hannah once opened up on the approach that she and Derek took when it comes to the kids using technology.

Derek and Hannah Jeter have limited their children’s use of technology

In 2019, while doing an interview, Hannah Jeter talked about her kids and life as a parent. She opened up on the approach that she and Derek take when it comes to their children using technology. Hannah mentioned that they had taken technology out of the equation and allowed their kids to be outside more. 

According to E! News, Hannah Jeter said, “We’ve sort of taken technology out of it. I grew up in a small community, my mom was a teacher, we had lots of arts and crafts going on.” She further said, “I think I raise my kids just how my mom raised me—being outside with nature and animals, trying not to be so on top of them, giving them safe places to explore and use their imagination. I really value that.”

Since retiring from baseball, Derek Jeter has become more open about his life off the field. This is because he doesn’t feel the need to be as private as when he was playing for the Yankees. Jeter strongly believed that when he was playing, there needed to be a certain level of privacy that he maintained. But that has changed since retirement and he is much more open today. He even joined social media last year and shares updates on himself and his family from time to time.
