World Series Victory Eludes Texas Rangers

The Texas-based baseball team officially debuted in MLB in 1972. Since then, the team has appeared in several World Series fights but never won it. They have given multiple remarkable performances and won group leagues, but the Fall Classic is still an unachieved dream for the team.

Between 2010 and 2016, the Rangers had five postseason appearances, but they failed it get the trophy every time. The last time they qualified for the World Series fight was in 2010 and 2011. But both times, the opponents took the trophy. In 2010, the San Francisco Giants were the opponent, and they won the trophy in a 4-1 series. The next year, the Rangers again qualified for the Fall Classic, but this time the St. Louis Cardinals took the trophy in a 4-3 series.

However, this season is different. The team is now leading the series against the D-backs and is only one step away from their first championship. After losing Game 2, Texas made an incredible comeback by winning two back-to-back games. It will all come to a close soon enough.

However, the Rangers are not the only team to suffer from a championship drought since their debut. There are a few more unfortunate names on the list.
