“When I look at what Aaron Judge is doing this year,…he has 1100 OPS, everyone else has… Goldschmidt is probably within 100 of that, but everyone else is below 900. He is stealing bases,.. is playing centerfield. He has big hit after big hit. I mean, he is everything an MVP would ever be. So it’s hard for me to envision him not winning the award,” Boone said.

While Judge is at 1.102 OPS, Shotime is only at .889. Looking at average, home runs, runs, and RBI, Judge is ahead of the Angels’ star player.  And thus, while Boone thinks Ohtani is a great player, Judge deserves to be the AL MVP this year.
