Fans always cheer or heckle during a game. If a team has a good play, they receive cheers, but if they don’t, the players often get booed and heckled by the same fans. Baseball came alive just two days ago, and it has already resorted to its bizarre moments. In a strange turn of events, during LA Angels and Oakland Athletics opening day game, the Angels’ third baseman Anthony Rendon had an altercation with a fan, which can send him into a lot of trouble.

In a 12-second video posted on Twitter, the athlete could be seen grabbing the fan through his shirt over the guardrails and cursing him. Rendon also tried to take a swing at him but missed and then left the area. However, as soon as this video went up, it went viral, and harsh criticism toward Rendon and the Angels started garnering, all while predicting the athlete’s future.

Such a horrendous act by Anthony Rendon has put both him and his team in serious trouble. However, when asked to comment on Rendon’s altercation with the fan, the Angels chose to remain silent. Although they did mention that Rendon will be available in a press conference to comment on the altercation ahead of today, i.e., the second game against the Athletics.
