It’s been months since San Diego Padres star player Fernando Tatis Jr. was banned from the big leagues after getting tested positive for taking a banned substance. After serving a suspension of 80 games, Tatis Jr. is long back in his form. Even so, the fans still have not stopped to despise the athlete for his mistake.

Most recently, Tatis Jr. met up with a young fan of his, who is also the son of the Miami Marlins outfielder. However, the meet and greet went upside down when the pictures of the young fan meeting up with his idol went on Twitter.

2x World Champ Jorge Soler‘s son, Jorley Soler, is a massive fan of the Padres player. Hence, before the recent game between the Padres and the Marlins, young Soler finally got the chance to meet his favorite player.

The duo, all smiles, clicked many pictures together. They hugged each other, and in one of the pictures, Tatis Jr. can be seen with a marker in his hand to sign the ball in Jorley’s hands.

However, as the Marlins posted pictures of young Soler meeting his favorite MLB player, fans from all over started to bash him for his usage of a banned substance and for getting suspended.

Baseball fans want the young fan to change his favorite player!

After eighteen months after his last game, Tatis Jr. got reinstated to play in MLB on April 20, 2023. Since the moment he got reinstated, he has hit nine home runs, bringing his team to win multiple times. Despite all of it, baseball fans have not forgotten about the mistake he made last year. Hence, they keep reminding him of the same by heckling him in almost every game. However, the athlete does not let the booing affect him and continues to play at his best.
