Aaron Judge is coming off a fantastic 2022 season. He was one of the best players in the League last year and helped the Yankees reach 99 wins. Furthermore, he established himself as one of the best players in the league by having his best season. 

Although Judge had been a star before that, his 2022 season really helped cement his place among MLB’s elite. Furthermore, he won the 2022 AL MVP award as well. Judge recently officially took home the award and fans reacted to the moment.

In 2022, Aaron Judge was awarded the AL MVP after a fantastic season in which he hit 62 home runs. But although he was named MVP in November last year, he officially received the trophy only recently. The Yankees shared a photo of the moment on Twitter and asked if anyone had doubts about Judge winning. Judge was fully dressed up in a suit and tie for the occasion.

In the Tweet, the Yankees said, “Any objections? Didn’t think so.” The way that the Yankees played last year, both in the regular season and postseason, it makes sense that he won the award. Furthermore, Judge was a crucial part of their entire year.

Fans reacted to the Tweet, and most of them supported the fact that Judge deserved the award. Some said they didn’t object, stating that he deserved the award. Others stated that they would make this image their wallpaper as he looked stylish in his outfit.

Getting the award in hand will be special, but what he has achieved in the past year is even more so. Other than winning the MVP award, Judge has also broken records and committed to building his legacy as a player. Furthermore, he is committed to winning a title with the New York Yankees. 

Judge is building a legacy with the Yankees

Aaron Judge broke the single-season AL home run record en route to winning the 2022 AL MVP. This etched Judge’s name into the history books and added to his legacy as a player. Furthermore, Judge signed a new contract with the Yankees for 9 years and $360 million.

Although he had better offers, he wanted to continue building his legacy with the Bronx Bombers. According to New York Post’s Jon Heyman, Judge “didn’t want to surrender his legacy over dollars”.
