The Yankees have emerged as a superpower in the current season. Players like Aaron Judge, Jose Trevino, Nestor Cortes Jr., and a few others have played instrumental roles in the Yankees’ successful run. But things are different now.
New York Yankees are the only team that has remained consistent in the current season. They have lost only one game in their last ten games. When the regular season kicked off, no one imagined that the Yankees will dominate in 2022, given their free agency and a poor run in the 2021 season.

In a recent game against the Chicago Cubs, Trevino hit a game-winning walk-off single in the 13th inning against the Cubs and helped the Yankees win the game. He dedicated this win to his 4-year-old son, who celebrated his birthday on the same day.
Apart from being a great professional, Jose Trevino is also a family man. Earlier in May, he fulfilled his late father’s dream with a walk-off win over the Baltimore Orioles. And now, he has fulfilled his son’s wish.

Talking to YES Network, Trevino revealed his son wanted him to win the game for the Yankees. “I don’t know what everybody believes in, but I know what I believe in. I got a little extra help, every time something like that happens. He was kind of yelling at me, asking if I had won the game for his birthday. He wanted the Yankees to win for his birthday,” Trevino said.
