Other than the style hall of fame, Derek Jeter was on the cover of GQ three times. In 1998, 2000, and 2011. Jeter’s image in those days was that of a style icon. No wonder he was the face of so many brand collaborations in the earlier decades, and now he’s back as one of the first faces of the new Style Hall of GQ.

He has been a frequent collaborator and brand ambassador for designer brands like Versace and has his own line of fragrances as well as his own line of footwear, and so many more.

Despite the mixed reactions, Jeter’s induction into the GQ Sports Style Hall of Fame is a recognition of his status as a style icon in the sports world.
