Even if Giancarlo Stanton does not have a calf strain, the Yankees have put him on a 10-day injured list. The reason? Per the Yankees skipper, Stanton has got some ankle inflammation. And if things go right, he will make his comeback in ten days.

“He doesn’t have a calf strain, actually. He’s just got some ankle inflammation,” Boone said to YES Network. “So, feels like we got good news. Achilles is fine and has no strain. Just feels like this is something that is going to be short, but feels like we should knock it out and not mess with it. Maybe it becomes something else. So hopefully he got out in front of a little and hopefully, it is just ten days and he will be back.”
