MLB fans send their best wishes to Pete Stendel

Baseball fans have often witnessed player injuries, which are difficult to watch. However, it’s even more challenging when a ball hurts a fan or a crew member. In the latest game of Yankees vs. Orioles, the cameraman, Pete Stendel was recording the game as usual in the camera well, when, in the fifth inning, a ball hit him.

Gunnar Henderson was trying to throw the ball to first baseman Ryan O’Hearn to get the Yankees’ Anthony Volpe out. But in his hurry, the ball flew too high over O’Hearn’s head and went straight into the camera well, hitting Stendel. Medical professionals immediately attended to him, and 17 minutes later, he was carried out in an ambulance.
