However, it is not the case for the reigning champions, Houston Astros’ star shortstop Jeremy Pena. After fiddling some ideas with the Astros, Pena recently made one of his dreams a reality. Notably, the shortstop is proud of his dream and has since become a star for the young fans of baseball. 

Giving the spotlight to the future of America, who are making healthy choices, showing growth in their career, and in classrooms, with the hard work of some great people, Pena has turned what once was a dream into reality. 

Jeremy Pena might be the most famous athlete among young sports enthusiasts!

Taking to his Instagram handle, the iconic shortstop Pena posted a few pictures of young baseball fans doodling on a bunch of cleats with the biggest of smiles on their faces. As the athlete posted the pictures, he narrated the idea and how he managed to make it a reality.

With the pictures, the shortstop wrote, “Every Friday home game, a new group of local students will attend batting practice as Peña Pals and guests of the Houston Astros. I will get the opportunity to hangout with these young superstars while they design cleats that I will be using in the game.” 

Furthermore, Pena added that the idea behind this motive is to celebrate the well-doing kids by bringing them to the ballpark. As he did so, he also thanked educators and staff at Spence Elementary, Energized for Stem Academy, and Magnolia Elementary for inspiring these young minds. Pena ended the post with, “Looking forward to meeting many more Peña Pals 🫶🏽.”

Needless to say, more than the young fans, the adult ones are excited about the upcoming Fridays’ home games. Hence, they wrote:
