Being on the diamond for over two decades, baseball icon Alex Rodriguez continued to make a big name for himself. By the time he bid farewell to the ballpark, he has already earned numerous accolades. Shortly after that, he started dating the pop icon, Jennifer Lopez. The relationship once again put the former baseball player on the map. Together, they became one of the most powerful couples in Hollywood.

During the time they stayed together, A-Rod and JLo invested in a multitude of ventures and real estate. Not to forget, they also tried to become the co-owners of the MLB franchise, the New York Mets. But the deal fell out of their hands because the ex-couple fell short of the required funds. It happened as they were unable to compete with Steve Cohen’s bid of $2.6 billion. Little did they know that they’d break up not long after that. Like their relationship, their breakup also became a headline. But their lawyers breathed a sigh of relief that the couple had failed while trying to buy the Mets.

Throughout their relationship, they continued to profess their love for one another in front of the public. They also became each other’s biggest supporters. While trying to grow together professionally, A-Rod and JLo put their separate investments in various deals, such as with the self-care company Hims & Hers. This helped them become investors in the company and their partnership with Fitplan, collaborating with the app to offer fitness coaching.

Shortly after they separated in April 2021, multiple frantic meetings started taking place at A-Rod Corp. Since they were not yet married, dividing their assets was a little less complicated, but still not easy. It was because the two of them had enormous wealth, which made it challenging. But their lawyers were happy about one thing. According to Page Six, “Everyone who works on the business side for the couple is mostly saying, ‘Thank god they didn’t buy the Mets.'”

Even though the two of them would have put in their distinct investment, “it would have been a huge mess to get out of it.” Their lawyers found a silver lining in one of the famous couple’s breakup.

Shortly after the couple came into a relationship, a piece of news came out which said that the former Yankee was cheating on the pop icon. This led the actress to hire a private investigator to find out the truth. Later, A-Rod found out about it, which created a rift between the couple for a short time.

But two years after their engagement, in 2021, once again, the same rumors came up. And this time around, Rodriguez reportedly cheated on JLo with the southern charm, Madison LeCroy. Not to mention, this was not the first or second-time such type of news came out about the former athlete. If rumors are to be believed, he has indeed cheated on the pop icon.
