Not just an epic outfielder, but a godfather to a Tampa Bay Rays star’s daughter. Seems interesting? Yes, it is. Two Cuban-born players, Adolis Garcia and Randy Arozarena, have shared a bond of friendship for a very long time. Even in this intense competition environment, what captures the attention is the bond shared by the players. But fans must be wondering, when did they get close?

Going back to 2017, both were members of the Cardinals. Being together in the Spring Training and now playing for different teams, the two are inseparable.

From sharing the same birthplace to being on the same team, Garcia and Arozarena are the best buds in baseball. Arozarena called Garcia the godfather of his daughter, as the exceptional outfielder never fails to advise the Tampa Bay players. In Arozarena’s words, ‘Adolis is kind of like my brother, so much that I named him the godfather of my daughter‘. They even believe that all of this is God’s plan.

Even in the sports world, where everything ends up in a competition, Garcia and Arozarena never fail to steal the attention. The Rookie winner proudly shares what he has for Rangers’ outfield, Adolis Garcia. But the funny part comes here as, even when they are competing, they advise each other to make themselves a better player every day. Baseball being the common sport, are there any things that keep the bond strong between these two?

Garcia said, “We two talk every day“. Interestingly, the topic is not restricted to baseball only. From family to personal talks, they share everything in between with each other. But very soon, the players will face each other on the field.
