‘A-Rod’ and Lopez famously donated millions to Puerto Rican Hurricane Relief in 2017. ‘Entertainment Tonight’ network caught up with the celebrity couple for an interview that year. The pair spoke about their relationship and how they worked together to help fund the disaster relief.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez had the initiation of their world-renowned romantic ventures in 2017. While they completed each other on multiple levels, they combined to do a lot of good. Both were ever in awe of each other and saw the best in their partner. So, a flow of compliments was rather natural from either. Lopez took note of everything ‘A-Rod’ did to help her during the disaster relief cause, and mentioned everything later. 

Speaking about ‘A-Rod’ in the interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Lopez said, “I think we’re very alike in many ways. And I think that’s what makes it work. And I think that’s why people respond to the fact that we got together.” Rodriguez jokingly followed up Lopez’s comments by saying, “We’re alike, except I can’t sing, dance, and I don’t look like her. Besides that, we’re twins.”

Lopez continued, by saying, “We compliment each other in a beautiful way and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this. I mean, the things that Alex did to help makes this a success for the people of Puerto Rico. And for all the disaster relief has been amazing.”
