But even an investor as savvy as A-Rod has things that he regrets while investing. The 2009 World Series champion opened up on his biggest regrets while investing in real estate.

In an appearance at the 10X Growth Conference in 2021, Alex Rodriguez opened up on his experience with real estate. He spoke with Grant Cardone on several topics related to real estate. The Yankee legend spoke at length about his experience and profits in the business but also mentioned shortcomings. Rodriguez particularly mentioned his two biggest regrets in real estate – that he couldn’t buy more and that he sold.

While talking to Cardone, A-Rod said, “I have two regrets in real estate. I didn’t buy enough, and I sold.” But the retired Yankee superstar also said that sometimes you have to sell, and it’s unavoidable. He added, “But it’s okay, you have to sell sometimes. You gotta get a double, not everything’s going to be a home run. There’s no need to be greedy. Take a single, take it off the table.”

The Yankee legend has bought “well over a billion, billion and a half dollars of real estate over the last ten years” with his business partners. Notably, the former Yankee has bought a lot of real estates, including a house next to the one he used to share with JLo. But apart from real estate, Rodriguez has also invested a major chunk in sports.
A-Rod bought the Minnesota Timberwolves and has invested in sports
Alex Rodriguez has stayed in touch with baseball by working as an analyst for the sport. Many people also know that the former Yankee star is now part-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves. But Rodriguez has also ventured into mixed martial arts.
