New York Yankees have hit the rock bottom in the second half of the ongoing MLB season. The same team that dominated the entire first half has been out of form for a while now. And if things do not go north for the Aaron Boone-led side, the Yankees might go trophyless this season.

Even their star performer, Aaron Judge, is having a tough time from the plate. If not for the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals, the Pinstripes have not won a single series after the All-Star break.

Recently, when the Yankees lost the second game against the Toronto Blue Jays, manager Aaron Boone said he is not concerned about the lead. Notably, despite having a poor record in the second half, the Yankees are still at the top of their division.

After losing the first game, the Yankees were scoreless in the second game against the Blue Jays. The Jays’ ace Kevin Gausman was the star performer of the game. He did not allow a single run from the mound, just four hits.

When a reporter reminded the New York Yankees manager about the lead in the American League East, Boone said he does not care about the lead. Because if they play well, the lead will automatically increase and vice versa.

The Yankees’ manager also opened up about the strategy to overcome the current situation.
