“Alex is a player… I mean, he could do it all, right? I don’t know how to describe it. You know, hit for average, hit for power, steal bases, play defense, strong arm, a good base runner… He could pretty much do whatever you would want a baseball player to do. So, I think that’s why the baseball world fell in love with Alex,” Jeter said.

Together, Jeter and A-Rod won the 2009 World Series for the New York Yankees. To date, this is still the last World Series that the Yankees have in their trophy cabinet.
