The time is about to be up for the LA Angels to build a prospect, as Shohei Ohtani, also known as?‘Shotime,’?will be becoming a free agent after 2023. The Angels are struggling to win this season, and Ohtani is just trying to stay motivated through it all.

Shotime will be without any restrictions to choose in which team he wants to play. Noticeably, executives have their predictions about where he might end up.

Where will Shohei Ohtani end up?

A few of the front officers of Major League Baseball have their opinions about where Ohtani will go. By the looks of it, he won’t be available for trade for at least one year. Till then, Shotime will be playing only for the Los Angeles Angels.?

A couple of officers think Ohtani might be available for trade in the coming summer before the MLB trade deadline. Whereas one thinks the Angels might retain him for the upcoming offseason.?

One of the officers was very specific in predicting Ohtani’s choice, and he said,??I don?t think he?s an East Coast guy. My first instinct is to say Dodgers or Giants. But I actually don?t think he would go to the Dodgers just because it would look like he?s sticking it to the Angels. I could see him going to Seattle. But West Coast. That?s my guess.?

As of now, the Giants do not have any big player on their team, and if Ohtani is up for trade, they certainly will be open to making him a part of their club.?

The LA Angels are struggling a little too much this season. They had a losing streak of 14 games this season, which eventually got broken by Ohtani’s two home runs. With a win in their last match against the Seattle Mariners, they are now at 45-61.?

Before this, they lost against the Oakland Athletics even after scoring 7 home runs. Two of which were scored by Ohtani. Also, they became the first-ever team in MLB history by scoring no runs in the game other than the seven home runs.
