Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez and Jennifer ‘J-Lo’ Lopez once paid a visit to Aaron Judge in the Yankee Stadium. The meet-up happened in 2017. It was the very year that ‘A-Rod’ and ‘J-Lo’ began to date. Aaron Judge was only an upcoming talent, back then.

Jennifer ‘J-Lo’ Lopez was born in New York, home to two famous baseball franchises; the Yankees and Mets. New York is a place engulfed in the baseball craze. So ‘J-Lo’ is obviously no stranger to the sport. A visitor to MLB ballparks on previous occasions, ‘J-Lo’ once traveled to the Yankee Stadium with ‘A-Rod’ and met the enigmatic Aaron Judge.

Back in 2005, popstar Jennifer ‘J-Lo’ Lopez visited Shea Stadium (the home of the New York Mets) to watch a game against the Yankees with her then-husband. At that time, Lopez was a part of another celebrity pairing, married to singer Marc Anthony. It was on that occasion that both Lopez and Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez had their first personal introduction. ‘A-Rod’ was playing for the Yankees. Interestingly, Anthony was supporting the New York Mets.

‘A-Rod’ played as a third baseman for the Yankees. He retired in 2016, working as a broadcaster and entrepreneur since then. He crossed paths with ‘J-Lo’ yet again in 2017. That was 12 years after their first meeting, and their romantic journey took form. 

Speaking in an interview, Lopez revealed she was excited to know Alex Rodriguez, the person away from his Yankee legend image. Lopez said, “He’s a loving father. He’s a generous human being with his family, with his friends, with me. He’s caring and sweet and capable and responsible and just all the beautiful things you would want a man to be. I feel really lucky right now, so I’m excited about life, but I’m more excited for people to get to see who he really is.”
