The Former Yankees Captain was one of the most iconic figures in MLB history, with almost zero haters. Not only did his fans love him, but the fans of the rival teams also respected and acknowledged his skills. He even received the greatest retirement goodbye. Whenever this legend entered the ballpark during his career, he was greeted with warm chanting from his fans.

After retirement, the baseball Icon has a different career, but whenever he appears for an interview, he is often asked about his fans and if he really misses the chants of his fans. During one of the interviews with Yes Network, the legend was asked the same question, and he replied, “There’s nothing you can do, I don’t care how much success you have post-playing career. There’s nothing you can do where you have 50,000 people chanting your name.” Jeter’s love for baseball and his fans went to the extent that the legend said, “I really can’t think of another job, another profession in the world. Yeah, you miss it. I still hear it sometimes when I’m asleep.”

Though at the time of Captain Clutch, The New York Yankees were at their golden time, they still received criticism often. Even after having 5 World Series, the legend got criticisms from fans, but he never minded them. No matter what fans said, the legend always praised his fans. To him, criticism is part of life that motivates players to improve.
