‘I Want It to Look Mean’- When Yankees Great Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez Was Spotted Cruising Beverly Hills in Custom Jeep Wrangler With In-Built Cigar Humidor

When it comes to showing off, nobody does it better than Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez. Whether it may be his physique, his partner, his kids, or even his car, he never shies away from showing off.

Well, at the moment, Alex was seen showing off his custom-built Jeep Wrangler, which has multiple features in it to suit the former baseball player.

Alex Rodriguez found it thrilling

The fourteen times All-star MLB player, Alex Rodriguez, never backs down from any competition, and this is a fact he has proven time and time again.

When Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez got the chance to compete in the first-ever Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs, he was not going to say no to them. After all, the winner was going to keep the Jeep Wrangler they’ve customized along with the Wrangler Golden Grille Award.

Talking about the Wrangler face-off, Rodriguez said“It’s been thrilling to compete in the first-ever ‘Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs.”

When the car got built, it certainly had everything A-Rod wanted in it. After all, he said“I want it to look mean.”  And it did look mean. He was also spotted cruising Beverly Hills headed for dinner, where he showed off his car to TMZ.

Made by the “Pimp My Ride” crew, the custom-made Wrangler has a functional cigar humidor right on the center console. If this was not enough, it also has a custom grille, giant 26″ Forgiato wheels, LED lighting, an iPad Pro embedded on the dash, a great sound quality system, and embellished tires. 

Did Rodriguez win the competition?

Alex Rodriguez must have wanted to win the competition in an emphatic style, albeit, irrespective of the features of the car, it still didn’t prove enough to secure victory.

The actress and journalist, Maria Menounos, won the competition. And showed everyone that a girl can design a car as well. The competition was judged in three classes – Stoplight Quality, Captivating Interiors, and Authentically Wrangler. 

Although A-Rod did bring his A-game to the competition, he still lost.
