Once known as an alleged playboy, baseball great Derek Jeter finally settled down with supermodel Hannah Jeter in 2016. The former athlete has a knack for keeping his personal life separate from his professional since his playing days and hasn’t changed until now. Therefore, details about his relationship with the supermodel were limited. But only until Jeter released his seven-part docu-series, which showed some never seen moments about his life, from his childhood to becoming a baseball and some from his personal life as well.

One of the moments that the Jeters talked about in the documentary was their first meeting. Until the documentary was released, it was known that Jeter had met Hannah at a mutual friend’s party at a restaurant where she was with her mother. In the documentary, the couple spoke about their different perspectives on their first meeting. In it, Sports Illustrated’s former model revealed a rather desperate secret that no one would have thought of.

Derek Jeter’s fanbase was not limited only to the sports world but was spread to almost every other industry. Hence, supermodel Hannah Davis also had a tough time resisting Jeter’s charisma. Back in 2012, when Jeter and Davis had met through mutual friends, Hannah was with her mother. And when the two of them interacted, Derek mainly spoke to her mother.

 It was because he thought that she was already in a relationship with one of her friends present there. But things were not as they seemed. Davis was not only single but had already clicked with the former athlete. In one of the episodes of the documentary, supermodel Hannah Jeter said, “I was going into the bathroom with my mom and telling her, ‘I need to make sure he knows I’m not with my friend.’ You know what I mean that I’m single, I am single.”

Since the supermodel had already started to get fond of Jeter, she let him know of her relationship status. And the rest is history. The couple is now happily married for over six years and are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters.
