Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez just can not get away from unwanted controversy and limelight. After breaking up with his ex-fiance, Jennifer Lopez, A-Rod, is making headlines with his new love interest Kathryne Padgett.
Although neither A-Rod nor Padgett has officially announced themselves as a couple, things are getting serious between the two. The 46-year-old baseball star has been making public appearances with Padgett since February 2022, especially more after his ex-fiance Jennifer got engaged to Hollywood star Ben Affleck.

The major question is, after breaking up with Jennifer, how did A-Rod meet Padgett, and since when they are seeing each other? And even if Padgett is dating the former Yankees star, then why they have not confirmed their relationship? Notably, they have been together for a while now. A recent report suggests that Padgett left her ex-boyfriend when she became in close contact with Alex Rodriguez.

Per a detailed report on Page Six, Padgett — who is a fitness model and bodybuilder — was dating a chemical engineer, Ty Sheppard. But she reportedly ended her relationship with Sheppard to be with Alex Rodriguez. And if reports are true, then within three weeks of her breakup with Sheppard, Padgett is at A-Rod’s house.

“Kat was at A-Rod’s house within three weeks of them breaking up,” said the report. However, Sheppard did not say any ill words to his ex-girlfriend. Instead, he wished her the best. “I wish them both the best,” Sheppard said.
The report also suggests that A-Rod messaged first the 25-year-old model. Padgett’s best friend, Higgins, confirmed this to Page Six. She also took a stand for her friend and said that Padgett did not cheat on Ty Sheppard.
“They seem serious, but they’re having fun too. She did not cheat on Ty, it was just a very close timeline,” Higgins said.

Although it is difficult to tell what is brewing up between them, seems like the former Yankee has finally found his soulmate.
