The Yankees legend played for the team for two decades and had thoroughly enjoyed his time. Derek’s time with the Yankees was mostly spent focusing on playing, but when they were in New York, the athlete did enjoy his time otherwise, too. He?said, “I had fun. If I said I didn’t, I’d be lying to you. We went out because we were in New York and because we had success. Yankees stadium was where the cool kids went.

Additionally, Jeter said, “If there were phones back then, my career would have been three years long.” Jeter had joked about this before as well.?
