Tristan got drafted by the Red Sox in 2018. After proving himself for four years, eventually, he got promoted to the major league this year. He made his MLB debut on September 4th, 2022. Moreover, he’s also represented the USA international team and won a silver medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The chaos around Tristan Casas and his first home run in MLB

In a game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Triston Casas smashed his first MLB homer. As tradition, Casas would want to keep the ball of his first MLB homer. However, things worked out differently after the fan who caught the ball refused to return it.

In an interview, the fan said that he’s being offered something to return the ball. He said, “I’m getting a signed bat by the player who hit it, a Bogaerts signed ball and something else i don’t know.” Before the authorities approached him, the Tampa Bay Mascot first met with him.

Jordan, while wearing an upper layer of Rays, admits that he’s a Chicago White Sox fan. He says, “I’m a Red Sox fan.” Ultimately, in exchange for the ball, Jordan will receive a bat signed by Casas, and two baseballs, each signed by Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers.

Boston Red Sox’s amiss 2022 season

The Boston Red Sox have witnessed a very forgettable season this year. Currently, the Red Sox are at number 5 in the East Division of the American League with 67 wins and 70 losses at 0.489. However, the Red Sox came from a pretty successful 2021, where they reached the Championship Series and lost to the Astros 2-4. Given their current situation, the think tank should be on their feet figuring what went so significantly wrong after a decent 2021.
