In November 2004, a few months after Alex Rodriguez played his first season in the Pinstripes, his first daughter, Natasha Rodriguez, was born. At that time, A-Rod was two years into his marriage with his then-wife Cynthia Scurtis. By 2008, the couple had their second child, but their marriage was on the brink of an end. As expected, their marriage came to an end in 2008, but that never equated to the Yankees superstar shying away from his responsibilities as a father.

Now, 15 years after the end of A-Rod and Cynthia’s marriage, the couple is on good terms, and the slugger-turned-entrepreneur continues to fulfill his responsibilities as a father.

Recently, A-Rod’s 18-year-old daughter, Natasha, received admission to her desired college, the University of Michigan. Natasha has always housed a strong passion for music and art, which has motivated her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Most recently, Natasha is exhibiting her theater abilities by playing the character of Cinderella.

Following Natasha’s play, A-Rod reached his Instagram as a proud father, for the umpteenth time, and congratulated the entire cast for putting up a stunning display. The $350 million worth business mogul said, “Bravo to Natasha and her Cinderella castmates for a show stopping performance.”

After the performance, with the caption, “Proud Dad,” and standing with a bouquet of flowers in his hand, A-Rod shared a clip of him congratulating his 18-year-old daughter. In the clip, Natasha says, “Thank you. I’m so happy you made it.”

Why did A-Rod and Cynthia Scurtis’ marriage come to an end?

A-Rod and Cynthia Scurtis married in 2002, after dating for six years since their first encounter in 1996. However, six years into their marriage, citing emotional abandonment and rumored infidelity with popstar Madonna, Cynthia filed for divorce.

By the time A-Rod and Cynthia’s marriage came to an end, the couple already had two daughters – Natasha and Ella. Today, long years after the end of their marriage, the ex-Yankees slugger has a really good relationship with Cynthia, her husband, and is almost a picture-perfect and proud father to his two daughters.
