Controversies following Alex Rodriguez are not very unusual. This is just another one where he almost caused a sensation by sliding into Belinda Russell’s Instagram DMs.

Belinda Russell is an Australian newsreader and a TV host who also likes to make TikTok videos and is quite good at it. 

A-Rod once commented on one of Belinda’s videos on Instagram, and it caused a stir when she talked about it.

Alex Rodriguez and his interesting take on Belinda’s videos

The former baseball player Alex Rodriguez has many interests, and apparently, one of them is watching TikTok videos. One night, he saw a video of the host Belinda and texted her privately to comment on her video. 

Belinda shared the baseball legend’s text during her show, and said, “I woke up this morning, checking the socials, and in my requests, there was a message from Alex Rodriguez. As in A-Rod. As in J.Lo’s ex.”

According to her, A-Rod texted her only two words, “Great feed!!”. This comment was in response to her dancing video in the studio. 

While Belinda shared the Yankees legend’s text, she also made sure to share that the two-worded text was not a flirty comment but that, “He just likes my videos.” Additionally, she said, “All I can say is…he likes great content, Dickie. He just said great feed! I’m very happily married.”

This kind of controversy came after A-Rod’s painful breakup with ex-fiance Jennifer Lopez. 

Alex was in a ‘world of pain’

Alex’s relationship with Jennifer started in 2017, with them getting engaged two years later. Their relationship has always made headlines and continued to do so while it lasted. They were supposed to get married in 2020, but the plans were delayed because of Covid. 

But then, in April 2021, they announced their split, and that they were better as friends. A short time after the breakup, JLo got back together with her ex Ben Affleck, with whom she is married now.

Learning that JLo and Ben got together sent Alex in a world of pain. An insider added, “Seeing her running straight back to Ben’s arms is a real kick in the teeth. There’s a part of him that still clings onto the hope that they’ll wind up together again, but deep down he’s had to accept the harsh truth that she’s over him and moving on with Ben.”
