According to A-Rod, it was not even a date until he went to the bathroom and complimented JLo about her attire via a text. But there was one other thing that happened during the date that Lopez never told the former Yankee about. 

Almost a year into her relationship, she decided to reveal the ‘one thing’ that she had never told her ex-boyfriend about. She revealed the secret in an interview with ace host Ellen DeGeneres in 2018.

While talking about the secret, JLo said, “I texted somebody, ‘I’m with Alex Rodriguez!'” she added. “My girlfriend, who knew him, I was like, ‘Guess who I’m with? Alex!’ He doesn’t know that part.”

This was the little secret that JLo never told Rodriguez until she went on DeGeneres’ show. Hearing it for the first time must have made the former Yankee curious about the other things Lopez hadn’t told him about their not-so-first date.

The ex-celeb couple started dating in 2017. But it was not the first time that they met each other. They met for the first time at a baseball game in 2005. At the moment, both of them were married to different people. Thus, they could not have dated each other back then.

But JLo said that she felt weird electricity for three seconds between them when they shook hands, even for a couple of seconds. The actress also admitted that even if they had dated back when they first met, they wouldn’t have stayed together for a long time. It was because they were completely different people, and they had a lot of growing up to do.
