Just like fans were tracking Aaron Rodgers this summer, eagle-eyed X users are now doing for Shohei Ohtani. The two-way marvel has reportedly already met with the Blue Jays once but both parties have been tight-lipped about the future. Now, MLB analyst Jim Bowden has shared an interesting tidbit on X.

He wrote, “Who knows if this is anything related to Shohei Ohtani but credit “X” users who have identified a private Jet scheduled this morning to fly from Anaheim to Toronto & even if it is…is it a visit to Toronto since he went to Dunedin last Monday? Or he is going to sign? Who knows”.

Discussing a private jet schedule that fans located, Bowden shared a screenshot of a flight set to depart from John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, CA, to Toronto Pearson International. The date is today, Dec. 8 and the time is 9:00 AM PST. And fans are in a frenzy.

The question is – will this jet contain a certain Japanese baseball wonder? The internet world has worked itself into a fevered madness because the flight could imply anything. Jon Morosi stated that Shohei Ohtani’s decision could come as early as tonight instead of by the week’s end. Will fans’ predictions come true?

It’s said that Japanese “yakyu” players don’t often opt for teams that already have a comrade from their country out of respect. But it might not be true for this pairing, because as Clarence Frazer reports, “Kikuchi reserves entire upscale sushi restaurant near Rogers Centre for tonight. Reservation made for 50+ people.”
