They then met for dinner at a secluded back table in Hotel BelAir after a few nights. A nervous ‘A-Rod’ tried to express himself with some background information about him. ‘A-Rod’ texted Lopez on the phone and gave her a compliment about her outfit that night. Lopez later spoke of Rodriguez’s comments saying, “Actually, it was good game, because it was very unexpected and it was super flattering. I wasn’t dressed very sexy.”
