In a 2022 R2D2 podcast, Judge opened up about his wedding in Hawaii, revealing a story of pure serendipity. When asked about his whale-watching experiences during the trip. The Yankees phenom shared that, while he missed out on the chance to see the majestic creatures, they were there all along.

During the intimate ceremony, pods of whales were breaching in the background. Creating an unforgettable and otherworldly atmosphere. Despite missing the spectacle, Judge was fully focused on the love of his life, his new wife, making the moment even more special. In his own words, this is how he narrated the story, “What’s crazy is that during the whole ceremony. I guess right behind us in the water was just pods of whales. Like breaching and coming through. I was locked in on her so I didn’t see anything.” He excitedly continued, “It was unreal.”
