Watching Juan Soto standing at the plate is a sight to behold. His unending swagger, explosive confidence, and his scary power make for an electrifying watch. However, the world remains envious of one man, the one who gets the best view of Soto’s at-bats. That man is Aaron Judge. While Soto dominates on the plate, Judge looks on from the deck. And if one has to believe the New York Yankees captain – this is the best thing in the world.

Juan Soto’s bat came alive against the Seattle Mariners last night. After the Yankees surprisingly lost the first two games, the Dominican star took it upon himself to sail the Bronx Bombers through. As a result, Soto hit 2 massive homers in a game that was filled with Bronx Bombers bombing their opponents. However, while the fans couldn’t stop cheering for him, none was as happy as his captain Aaron Judge.

During his post-game conference, Judge looked ecstatic after watching Soto do his thing. Even though he too hit a 2-run homer, All Rise couldn’t help but be in awe of the Childish Bambino. “I felt like he’s been locked in all season long. It’s been impressive to watch,” Judge said about Juan Soto. However, his praises didn’t end there. The Yankees captain shared how unpredictable watching Soto could be.

“You never know what will happen. He’ll drill the first pitch into the seats or have a eight, nine, ten-pitch at-bat,” Judge’s praises continued, “Batting off touch pitches and taking great swings. It’s entertaining and fun to watch. Good look at all the guys’ pitches and what he’s trying to do. What the catcher and pitcher, kind of their game plan, it’s been fun to watch him and have that front row seat.”

Ever since Soto’s arrival Judge has consistently been one of his biggest fans. However, while Soto’s been amazing, All Rise hasn’t been any less good in the past few games.

Aaron Judge and Juan Soto’s home-run party takes the Yankees back to winning ways

After that game, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto’s home run count is 14 and 13, respectively. But while Soto’s been consistent from day one, nearly all of Judge’s home runs have come in a month or so. The superstar has played in 51 games till now and 10 of his homers have come in the last 24 games. That means that in his initial 26 games, All Rise hit only 4 homers (which added up to around one home run in every 6 or more games).

However, now the superstar is suddenly averaging one homer in just over 2 games. But even after this return to form Judge noted that he’s not completely back yet. The superstar humbly noted that it was Soto and Anthony Volpe who have “been leading the offense” and he’s just trying to do his job. Though Judge did say that he’s getting there, the New York Yankees captain still isn’t completely satisfied with his performances.
