As a baseball superstar. Alex Rodriguez has had a number of high-profile relationships over the years. But his marriage with Cynthia Scurtis played a big part in his life. A-Rod has only married once and following his divorce he has had a string of short-term relationships.

Even though their marriage did not last long enough, the two had a memorable run together. When talking about their marriage, Scurtis was extremely supportive of her then-husband’s position in the MLB and was proud of his achievements. She once even spoke about his attractiveness and how she was proud of it.

In an interview from 2004, Scurtis was asked what she thought when other people called her husband handsome. She replied saying that she was flattered that people found A-Rod attractive and that it was great. Scurtis said “You know what? I’m flattered by that. I mean he’s my husband and if people find him attractive and sexy, great. It’s flattering, it’s flattering to me.”

This showed the trusting relationship that A-Rod and his wife had together despite his superstardom. The two, unfortunately, got divorced in 2008 after 6 years of marriage and having two children together.

Both of them have since moved on since the divorce. Scurtis got married to real estate advisor Angel Nicholas, and Rodriguez is currently dating fitness instructor Jaclyn Cordeiro.

A-Rod has maintained a friendly relationship with his ex-wife since the divorce. And the two co-parent their two daughters together. Rodriguez spends a lot of time with his two daughters, Natasha and Ella. Alex loves his daughters tremendously and says that being a father is what he loves doing the most.

A-Rod is supportive of his ex-wife’s new marriage

Even though his ex-wife got re-married, A-Rod has shown class to her new relationship. Over the years, Scurtis and her new husband have been seen at Rodriguez’s house for the holidays, and on other occasions as well to spend time together as a family.
