But the former Yankee Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez did it with such ease that he made it look like one of the easiest things in life. With a bit of a smile, the former Yankee first said, “Well, I think it’s probably better for him to answer.” Even so, he talked about the things he thought he brings to the table while he was with Marc in the boardroom. Talking about everything A-Rod did in his career playing ball, he said, “I would say my grit, my determination, my work ethic. The fact that I have failed very publicly. And I’ve had to get back up, dust off and I just keep walking. But I got to rebuild myself. And really understand that I am so fortunate and grateful to be in this position.”

While looking at A-Rod’s career precisely, he had already entered the business world when he was playing as a professional ballplayer in Major League Baseball. After retiring, he got to use every experience of his as an athlete and also as a part-time businessman to create an empire worth having invested in.

When did A-Rod first enter the business world?

At the age of merely eighteen, Alex sold the Rolex watches he bought from his first salary from MLB. From the money he got by selling them, he bought his first estate. And hence, he started the real estate and investment firm, A-Rod Corp.
