He completed his final treatment in April. Furthermore, he made a shockingly quick recovery. Most recently, former Yankees pitcher Jameson Taillon shared a message on Twitter in Hendriks’ honor. He expressed amazement at the White Sox pitcher’s quick recovery and is happy to see him back on the mound.

In the tweet, Jameson Taillon said, “One of the fiercest competitors in the game. Fired up to see him back out there where he belongs! 💪 #StruckOutCancer”. This is a massive moment that goes beyond baseball. Taillon acknowledges the fight that Hendriks put into beating cancer.
