The final showdown between Team USA and Team Japan was nothing but thrilling for baseball fans! With Japan clinching the title by putting out a stunning play since the second inning of the game, fans were on an edge throughout the game. The singing atmosphere was in the symphony with the thunderous road that the crowd has been emitting.

And amidst it all, are the players who gave their everything out on the field. Team USA had fallen behind and had been struggling to catch up, but a stunning home run by Kyle Schwarber gave the team a lifeline, putting them just one run behind Japan. And in the excitement, fans in the stands showed their excitement about the soaring home run in an unexpected way.

World Baseball Classic final: Kyle Schwarber’s home run had fans a bit too excited! 

In the top 8th inning, Kyle Schwarber put out a stunning battle against Yu Darvish and in the end sent in a soaring home run 436 ft to the second deck. Fans in the stand watching the home run coming towards clamored over each other to catch the glorious ball which has given Team USA a lifeline to make a comeback. 

But in the excitement during the intense moment, an energetic fan drooped their phone from the second deck and one fan was almost hanging off the railing as they jumped high in an attempt to catch the ball (they’re good though)! However, sadly the home run was caught by someone behind them!

And later, in the bottom ninth inning, the most anticipated showdown of them all was Shohei Ohtani vs Mike Trout. Ever since the start of this tournament, almost every baseball fan waited for this very moment to happen. Unfortunately for Trout, it was Ohtani who won the battle for Team Japan, striking him out in the bottom of 9th, which eventually helped Team Japan win their 3rd WBC title.
