Shohei Ohtani is Finally Human While Jasson Dominguez is “Officially Bionic”

The legend of the Japanese baseball superhuman has built itself over the years. MLB has seen some truly iconic plays from fantastic players in the last decades. But none have pitched and hit at the same time. Shohei Ohtani is unique because he’s the first of his kind, almost an alien, as some say. But another hero has emerged on the other coast with the New York Yankees.

Unfortunately, while Ohtani has played almost three full seasons before injuries hit him hard, Jasson Dominguez only got to play 8 MLB games. The Yankees, who have seemed cursed all season long, had to deal with yet another injury, making the Baby Bombers era less effective.

Just as Ohtani announced his surgery news on Instagram, so did Jasson Dominguez several hours later. All seems well for the youngster, who posted some pictures of himself after Tommy John surgery was done and over with. “officially bionic 🦾 “ Dominguez captioned the post, earning laughter from fans.
