During the Yankees’ first game against the Blue Jays in their ongoing series, Aaron Judge was accused of cheating. During one at-bat, he continuously looked at the dugout before hitting a home run. This made it seem like the Yankees captain was stealing signs. But in reality, he was supposedly looking at the dugout to see which of his teammates was arguing with the base umpire.
Even Bronx Bombers manager Aaron Boone apologized for the boring conclusion. But most recently, Jay Jackson, the pitcher during that game, admitted that he was tipping pitches. Jackson admitted the same during a telephonic interview with The Athletic.

According to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal, Jackson said, “From what I was told, I was kind of tipping the pitch. It was (less) my grip when I was coming behind my ear. It was the time it was taking me from my set position, from my glove coming from my head to my hip. On fastballs, I was kind of doing it quicker than on sliders. They were kind of picking up on it.”
