In his twenty-two years on the diamond, Yankees icon Alex Rodriguez achieved many accolades to his name. But in those years, his personal life had to go through some significant changes. A year before winning his first and only World Series Ring, he separated from his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Since then, he has dated various big names in the sports and Hollywood industries. But hasn’t settled down with either of them. To this day, the highlight of his dating list remains with the pop icon Jennifer Lopez.

For those unversed, the duo had dated for four years and were engaged for two years. Before they broke up in April 2021, they’d been each other’s biggest fans, and always supported each other. While talking about their other skill, they’d be the first person to back each other. Therefore, when the time came for Lopez to back up the then 43-year-old’s baseball skills, she wasn’t going to stay put.

In all the four years the ex-celeb couple stayed together, they’ve talked multiple times about how they used to miss each other when they weren’t together at the same place. In an Instagram live in March 2019, A-Rod wished he would be back in Spring Training. Later he said that since he’s old now, he can’t play anymore. While trying to boost his confidence, JLo jumped in and said, “You can still play. I’ll bet if you still played, you’ll still be hitting probably some of the most home runs.”

It would not be wrong to say that these two were each other’s biggest supporters in the years they stayed together.
