Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter teamed up once again on Sunday. However, this time they did not play any games, but they reunited for the much-talked-about KayRod Cast with Michael Kay. A-Rod and Jeter are probably two of the biggest baseball stars of the 21st century.

Having played for the same MLB franchise for over 10 years together, A-Rod and Jeter know each other for over 25 years. And during these 25 years, there were many ups and downs in their relationship.
However, forgetting their past, the two Yankees legends appeared together on the ESPN show. But given their rifts over the last few years, the Yankees fans were not comfortable watching the two baseball G.O.A.T.s together.
Were the Yankees fans not okay with Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter’s reunion?
It is no secret that Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter have not been best friends despite playing on the same team for over a decade. Dating back to 2001, A-Rod had said that Jeter won championships with the Yankees only because he had a good team. And Jeter took offense at this comment.
Coming back to the recent ESPN program, Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter sat together and discussed many topics related to the game. And while doing so, A-Rod also went down memory lane and shared some throwback stories with the former Yankees captain.
Although Jeter did not say a word about it, fans found it was a stupid story by A-Rod. And Jeter must have felt annoyed by it. Taking to Twitter, the Yankees fans reacted to this incident and took digs at A-Rod for his boring story.

One fan called A-Rod a horrible storyteller; while another fan was wondering what made Jeter come to this show and hear A-Rod’s unbearable words.

ARod and Jeter on TV was awkward, maybe cringeworthy. ARod felt the need to confess to his mistakes. Jeter made his feelings clear on the Captain and showed no warmth and wasn’t going to embrace ARod on anything. Who at the network thought this was a good idea?
