Most recently, it was confirmed that the Cardinals’ top prospect Jordan Walker has made the Opening Day roster. This is a big move for the team as they bring in the 20-year-old to get Major League experience. Fox Sports shared the update on Twitter, confirming that Cardinals’ President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak announced the news.

In a Tweet, Fox Sports: MLB said, “Cardinals top prospect Jordan Walker has made the Opening Day roster, John Mozeliak announced. Walker is MLB’s No.4 overall prospect.” Walker will provide the Cardinals with added depth and options as he is a versatile fielder.
