Backed by a roaring crowd swept up in the chaos, the Toronto Blue Jays gave the Yankees a tough two-game reality check, handing them a 7-13 loss in Game 2 of the ALDS. After getting crushed 10-1 the night before, the pressure was already relentless. And when things weren’t looking much better from last night, Josh Hart summed it up perfectly on X (formerly Twitter).

“This isn’t looking good.” Hart quipped.
Then, a Mets fan quickly jumped in. He quote-tweeted Hart’s take and said, “It’s okay Josh. Mets FC will gladly take you.” Hart’s response?

“But y’all didn’t even make the playoffs?”
Aaron Judge, who took plenty of heat for his at-bat Saturday, only added to the Yankees’ embarrassment on Sunday. Before Ernie Clement’s homer, Daulton Varsho doubled down the right field line. That’s when Aaron Judge awkwardly misplayed the ball, letting it slip past his glove.

And when the Yankees were teetering on the edge of a loss, NBA star and die-hard Yankees fan Josh Hart voiced his concern. But he didn’t forget to safeguard the pride, as well!

The Mets’ postseason hopes were dashed in Game 162 last month when they were shut out by the Miami Marlins, getting eliminated from contention on the final day of the regular season.
It’s the same club that once looked like a serious contender. They sat 21 games over .500 by June. So, the Mets’ late-season collapse and failure to reach the postseason made Hart’s clapback hit even harder. But now, the Blue Jays, holding the top seed in these AL playoffs, can eliminate the Yankees in Game 3.
At this point, even if the Bronx Bombers use their home-field advantage to win the next two games, they’ll have to go back to Toronto for Game 5, as per the rules. And clearly, the Yankees’ costly miscues, including Judge’s postseason struggles, were more evident than ever while playing at Rogers Centre.
Aaron Judge’s candid response to the Yankees’ Game 2 loss
Nothing much changed in the Yankees’ fate for Game 2. All the while, Aaron Judge’s postseason struggles continue to stack up. When he let the ball slip over his glove with an awkward play near the wall on Sunday, it marked his second error in his last six postseason appearances.
After the game, while speaking about the Yankees’ struggles playing in Toronto this season, he remarked, “It’s tough to say. I’m not sure.”
Further, when asked if he’s surprised the Yankees are down 0-2 to the Blue Jays, he said, “You know, it’s the postseason. Anything’s going to happen. You never know if it’s going to be a pitcher’s duel until the end or if the offenses are going to explode early on.”
On Sunday, he was charged with a fielding error in right field. While that was certainly costly, yet with everything else going wrong for the Yankees, it wouldn’t have made much of a difference.

While the Blue Jays hit seven home runs across these two games, the Yankees managed just one. It was a two-run shot by Cody Bellinger when they were already down 12-0. Speaking on the strategy for facing the Blue Jays in the Bronx, Judge said, “We’ve got to be the ones that score first. And kind of put the pressure on them and kind of flip the script.”
So, what are your speculations for Game 3?
