But after Gleyber Torres’ base hit out to right field, the runner was slow off the blocks and couldn’t bring in the run being tagged at home plate.While the opportunity was surely a tough one; it wasn’t inconceivable that Stanton could’ve scored off the play.

The 2017 MVP has snagged 17 home runs this season, but despite that, only has an 0.765 OPS to show for it. And that with only 42 RBIs, the star is certainly underperforming. And the fans made their anger known at what looked like a lack of intent from the hitter.
